Drawing on my traditional training and carefully considered compositions, I make colorful figurative and still life paintings that serve as a reminder to savor simple, joyful experiences . Throughout my career, my work has reflected a deep longing for calm and comfort. As I try my best to live an uncluttered and uncomplicated life, I am mindful to always appreciate the beauty to be found in each day. Life can often feel hurried, but in my studio, time slows down and I create work that embraces the things I love and the easy-going moments that make me the happiest.
